Greetings From Texas

For this card I used the following:
Stamps:  (inside) Stampin up Wanted (outside) Texas Map and Texas B&J Art Stamps.
Flowers on Front:  I made these using the scallop from Boho Blossoms Punch stampin up.  I layered 5 scallops, added a brad and scrunched them.

CASE Bird Punch Card

I saw a card at my friends Anne's house that she had received in a swap.  I wanted to recreate the card so I googled "brayer bird punch"  and found the following website. stampingtweets.com.  I used her design as inspiration but added my own twist.  I used Tim holtz wood grain embossing folder to make the pilers look more like wood.  I added a sun and sponged my clouds.  I also added a Pier 121 sign to give it some local flare.  I gave these out at my Swap your heart Out Swap last Thursday.

Card Swap Bags

We had our first swap this week at Swap Your Heart Out!  Because this was our first meeting I made each swap member a personalized bag.  I typed the words "Swap Your Out" and each name on My Digital Studio.  I cut all layers with my paper cutter using scrap paper.  I stamped beige layer with dots (Unity) and scroll (stampin up).  I distress the edges.  The black layer of the heart is the stampin up die cut and the inside is the large heart punch.  I tied a ribbon and glued it to a tim holtz clip.  Each name tag has a magnet on the back.  The base of the tags are left over gift tags from Hobby Lobby.  I punched out the names using the large oval punch (stampin up).  I added a little bling and some green flowers.  They really liked them and we each had a bag to take home our cards.

Senior August Craft

Every month I do a project with the Seniors at Atria Richardson.  This month I designed a simple tag that they can hang on a knob in their kitchen.

I cut the tags from File folders using my Cricut (Tags Bags, Boxes, & More 2 x 5.5").  I cut the Birdcage from Cricut (Serenade 1.5 x 2.75").  I used the stampin up bird punch.  For the background I stamped Polka dots (Unity Stamp Company) in Light brown.  I stamped the Vintage Flourish (Stampabilities).  I added green Flowers (Iced got Flowers) and stamped Love in black.
I prepared elements and ran them through my Xyron to make them stickers. Each senior will get a kit and that they can assemble themselves.
I hope they like this as much as I do.
Happy Crafting,
Charlene
