Bridal Shower Banners

I made these Banners for my friends Bridal shower.  The above banner was
made after a picture she gave me (I think from Etsy) I made it with chip board
paint, distress, and cricut letters.

I made a burlap love banner

Wedding Shower Decorating

I found these tree pieces and metal letters at Mckinney trade days.  Total cost $1.50 each.

We hung some on a tree (next post) and other were placed in front of the flowers.

This is a photo backdrop made from plastic table cloths and tule.

Pumpkin Candy Holder

I made these pumpkin candy jars out of glass bowls and candle holders I found at Dollar Tree.   I used Kryon Orange spray paint to paint the glass bowls.  Once dry I painted faces with Sharpie Marker.

I made several of them to give to my husband co workers.  I made the removable paper hats from misc paper.  I also used ribbon for the bow and used a cupcake topper "Trick or Treat" attached to the bottom.  I used Tim Holtz Rosette die with punches images.  Punched Bats finish it off.

I added another Rosette to the bottom on the base to add weight.

Bible Art Journaling Provebs 31:25

For this page I did the following:
Prepared the page with Gesso (Clear)
Stamped the cute doll stamp (Julie Nutting) Mixed Media Doll Stamp) with permanent ink
Used water colors.
Highlighted the verse (plus the others on the page that spoke to me)
Then I wrote the verse on her dress and dated the page.

My goals for Bible Art Journaling are to spend more time in the word and also to try new art techniques.
