Diaper Cake

I made this diaper cake for my friend Lisa's Baby shower.  It took 1 pack of size 1 diapers and was very quick to make.  The diapers were rolled and secured with rubber bands.  I put scrapbook paper around the diapers and wrapped with ribbon.  I secured the hands and feet with ribbon so the bear was securely holding the cake.

Sophia's Diaper Cake

I made this diaper cake for my daughters friend Sophia.  The bottom and top layer are all diapers.  I wrapped each layer with ribbon and added handmade tissue flowers around the bottom layer.

The bear on the top is holding a bottle, has a paper crown and a medallion with the babies name. 

 The second layer has a hand painted paper box filled with treats.  On the back I added 3 paper covered clothes pins to hold mittens.

Baby Shower Diaper Cake

I have seen many diaper cakes over the last few years and finally decided to make one.  It was for my friends shower after the birth of his Twins.  I rolled each diaper, secured with a rubber band, put a paper boarder, cut sets of animals on my cricut (create a critter), attached all cut animals, socks, wash clothes, and toys with clothespins.  I used cricut (storybook) to cut the letters.
