Christmas Countdown Day 15

My friend Melissa asked me to cut some shapes on my Cricut for a Christmas Gift she was working on.  She made adorable picture frames with the names of the kids in her bible study class.  My other friend Linda liked them so much she made some for her grandkids.  Thanks so much for sharing your ideas with me Melissa and Linda!

All images were cut with the Cricut (wild west and doodle charms)

Christmas Countdown Day 14

I made this Believe Banner using the Cricut (tags, bags & More, and Story book).  I ran each tag through an embossing folder to give it texture.  I made the rosettes using tim Holtz die.

Christmas Countdown Day 13

Last year I got an email project (I think from papertreyink) with a similar tree using a wire form from Hobby Lobby.  I searched everywhere and could not find the link or the email (sorry).  I made this version from memory.  It has clips to hold 4 photos and has a few different stamps.  I love the way it turned out.  If I ever find the link I'll be sure to post it.

Christmas Countdown Day 6

Santa Triangle Boxes

I was inspired to make Santa boxes after visiting;  Do Stamping with Dawn.  For my boxes I used the cone die stampin up run through the embossing machine.  I cut the santa face using Doodle Charms.  I free hand cut the boots and gloves.

Christmas Countdown Day 3

For this project I used an old pair of my husbands Jeans.  I used white felt for the arms and Head.  I added a bag of pinto beans inside the bottom to give it a little weight.  The pocket can hold candy canes or gift cards.

Until Tomorrow,

Christmas Countdown Day 2

This is a great kids Craft.  The base is just a 2x4" piece of scrap wood painted white.  The faces are just painted with paint pens.  The hat is scrap T shirts wrapped around the top and glued.  We put a piece of tissue paper inside the hat to help it stand up.  We added a scrap fabric scarf.  Super easy and really cute.

Christmas Countdown Day 1

I love Christmas and wanted to challenge myself to post a Christmas Project everyday until Christmas.
I made this Christmas Countdown at Scrappin Bunnies in Mckinney Texas.  It was a great class and I love the way the advent turned out.  I added a scripture under each day to help me remember the real meaning of Christmas.  I found the scriptures here: 25 days of Scripture.
Happy Holidays!
