Cricut Serenade Bird Cage Card

I was playing around last night with my new Serenade cartridge and this is one of the cards that I came up with. The base of the card is 10" x 6" scored at 5". I marked the front of the card in the center and cut the birdcage on shadow center point at 3.8". I cut two birdcages 4", I cut two sets of birdcage layers at 4.8". I cut two birds at 1.5". I cut 3 flowers and inserts at 1" and two branches at 1.5". I put a pop dot between the bird layers attached the wings and green eye gem to each side. I sponged the edges to give an older look. I glued the two sides of the birdcage together and attached to the opening with the sides of the layered strips. I stamped the inside image and layered behind yellow paper. I cut two red swirls to put on each side. I attached the top of the birdcage to the card with Tim Holtz chain.
