While I was working on Challenge projects this past weekend I found myself with lots of scrap paper. I made a quick and easy card.
Paper: Scraps
Stamp: Hampton Art Woman Collage
Ink Versafine
For this card I stamped the image in versafine Sepia onto beige paper. I re-stamped the butterfly portion on yellow card stock. I layered the image on scrap paper and tied with a bow. I added pop dots to the butterfly to give it some dimension. I added to a standard kraft card.

Mojo Monday 197 Summer Card
My Friend Rona had the nickname of Summer when she was a camp counselor. She loves Coconut and anything tropical. She was the inspiration for my card. I started with the above Mojo Monday Sketch.
Base of my card is 4.25" square Kraft Paper
Layer 1- Red Card Stock 4" Square
Layer 2 Scrap Hibiscus Paper 3.75" Square
Layer 3 Red Card Stock 2.75" Square
Layer 4 White Card Stock 2.5" Square
I rounded all the corners and punched holes in the top left to tie ribbon through.
I stamped 3 small flowers on yellow card stock and cut out.
For the Coconut I punched a 1 3/4" circle of Brown Card-stock and White Card-stock. I used the large oval to take off the top portion making the white slightly larger. I embossed the brown piece.
For the Cherry I punched an extra small circle in red and used the stem from the two step bird punch.
The leaves are the wings from the same punch. I cut a straw and used pop dots and red tap to secure the coconut. It does remind me of summer!
Stamps: Stampin up- Flower (Wing of Friendship), Summer (Everyday Flexible Phrases)
Embossing folder-Stampin up (Square Lattice)
Ribbon Stampin up (so saffron)

Flag Day Cake
I was asked to do a cooking demo for a group of seniors and decided to do a really easy cake decorating presentation. The cake is white with whip cream frosting. The top is decorated with fruit to look like a flag. Some of the Blueberries were so big they looked like grapes. During the presentation we sang "Your a grand Ole Flag" and other patriotic songs. I had a great time and I know the seniors did too! Thank you Cathy, Kathy, and Tara for all your help!

Thank You Gift Bags
For nurses aide week my agency made these gift bags to hand out. There is a poem on the front and treats on the inside. They turned out really cute! Great job Tara!
The poem was printed on the computer. Lady bug was made with Cricut Doodle charms and Ribbon is from Stampin up!
The Poem says:
Thanks for all you do!
This package contains:
Lollipop-because someone so sweet deserves a special treat
Pretzels- because you are some one we can count on in a crunch
Chocolate Chip Cookies-because you're always willing to chip in with a helping hand
Lifesavers - a reminder of the many times others will need your help.
Mints - to remind you your compassion is worth a mint to your patients.
Starbursts - for that extra burst of energy needed at the end of the day
The effort you put in makes
it a TREAT to work with you!

Stamp Club Card Swap
We did a card swap at my friends Anne's house this month. It was my first swap and now I'm hooked. I love how everyones cards turned out and I can't wait for the next one. I made two versions of my card for the swap.
I started with Rich Raspberry base and used my Big shot to cut the top note in Kraft. I stamped the design onto the top note and made a flower using my Blossoms punch and attached with a brad. I stamped the saying onto cream card stock and cut out using the label punch. I distressed the edges and glued to the front. I used misc bling to dress it up.
I stamped the envelope with the flower stamp and put the cards into a plastic cover.
Stamp Set: Stampin up Friends 24-7
I'm already thinking about what I'm going to do for the next month swap.

Quick Kindness Gift Bags
I made these gift bags for a presentation about Alzheimer's Disease last week. I thought the theme of Kindness was appropriate. The quote says "Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness, Kindness in giving creates love. - Lao Tzu"
This is how I made them:
I stared with mini brown lunch sacs from Hobby Lobby
1. I cut the base in red 3 1/2"x 2 1/2"
2. I cut the beige paper 2 1/4" x 2 1/4"
3. I stamped the bird in Versafine Sepia (stampin up Friends 24-7)
4. I printed the quote on my computer in a text box 2 1/4" x 1 1/4"
5. I glued both panels onto the red leaving a gap of red between.
6. I tied the bow (ribbon from Hobby Lobby) and glued on.
7. Filled with candy, a business card, and stapled shut.
They looked really cute on the tables.

Paper Fortune Cookie Invitations
My new marketer Tara is hosting a "Chinese Buffet" for one of her major accounts on June 22nd and wanted to create a Buzz around the event. We started last week by giving them a Save the Date Card attached to a pair of chopsticks. I created the invitation using Microsoft Word and punched pictures of Kung Fu Panda to go along with the theme. I used pop dots to give extra dimension.
This week I made Paper Fortune Cookie Invitations thanks to a crafting friends suggestion. I found a great tutorial online Paper Fortune Cookie Tutorial. The only changes I made were using hot glue instead of glue dots, using a heavier weight paper, and distressing with dark brown. I used Cricut Platinum School House to cut the circles at 3.8".
I put the fortune cookies into plastic bags with our business cards attached. The message reads "You will have a great lunch on Wednesday June 22nd. See you there! I hope they like them.
