SR#63 Embossing Card De' Shea

My son Justin asked me to make a gift for his friend Shea's 18th Birthday.  Instructions were nothing too Fancy of Girly.  This is what I came up with.  I used a pillow box from Dollar Tree (set of 6) and made a large tag.  The box was approximately 6" wide.  I cut 3 circles Large circles and 8 small circles using my cricut and embossed the top layer with circles.  I cut the SHEA and 18 from Cricut Platinum Schoolhouse.  I used my labeler to write Happy Birthday.  I added pop dots on all layers to give it dimension and finished it off with a little bling.   I filled the pillow box with lottery tickets, a gift card, and candy.  He said she really liked it.

This project was inspired by the Stampin Royalty #63 Embossing Challenge.

The back of the tag had a pocket with a tag for the birthday message.

St. Patrick's Day Pillow Box

I am the hostess for my Stamp Club this month and wanted to make a special treat for my friends. I had a bunch of plain white pillow boxes and decided to start with that as my base.

The measurements for this project: Layer 1 (Dark Green) 3" x 9", Layer 2 (Kraft Paper) Crimped 2 1/2" x 9", Layer 3 (Misc designer paper) 1 1/2" x 9".  I wrapped a gold ribbon around the corrugated section and tied a knot.  I stamped the Happy St. Patrick's Day circle (Stampin up) and layer onto a dark green scalloped circle.

For the inside I stamped the Irish Blessing and rolled like a scroll with a dark green band (Small Slit Punch).

I filled each pillow box with candy and the secret message.  I hope they like them.

Here is a picture of the different designer paper I used.
They were really easy to make.

Oh Lucky Owl!

When I was playing around with my two step owl punch this one looked really sad.  I added a pink heart and the saying I'm So Lucky!

This is the inside of the card.

The stamp was from stampabilities.

I made a very simple card for this challange.  I started with a recycled Kraft Base and covered it with orange paper.  I stamped the Trees onto a scrap of designer paper.  I punched a circle out of plastic packaging and punched a smaller hole to time onto the Rafia.
I stamped thinking of you in the corner.

For this project I used:
Stamps: Teeny tiny wishes, everyday flexible phrases, and Lovely as a Tree all from Stampin up.
Ink: Versafine.

CRC77-Thinking of you

For this weeks challenge I kept it very simple.  I used red card 5" square.  I cut the designer paper at '4 1/2" and cut into triangles.   I stamped the large medallion (stampin up) and cut out the center.  I used pop dot to adhere it to a star cut with my Cricut (Gypsy Wandering).  I punched a 1 1/2" strip with my scalloped border punch and added jewels to the corners.  I stamped a simple thing of you and punched with oval punch layered on blue scallop.

Birthday Lottery Ticket Holder

My husband asked me to create a birthday card for his Assistant's 25th Birthday.  I designed an accordion card that could hold 25 lottery tickets.   I think it would have been cool with gift cards tucked inside as well.   I covered the front with Green card stock and designer Happy Birthday paper.  I cut the 25 with my Cricut and glued onto two circles cut with punches.  I made the Rosette by hand (scoring at 1/4" and fan folding.
I punched the KATIE using Stampin up stamp set and layered it on colored scraps.

I cut 12" beige card stock into 4" strips.  I scored at 3.5" and attached them together to make the accordion card. I cut pockets our of colored card stock 4"x 2" to hold the lottery tickets.

I cut the letters using my Cricut Storybook and punched the circles using my Stampin up circle punches.  For the inside pocket I used the Stampin up two step owl punch and inserted a decorated tag with my message.

My husband said she loved it!
