Rosette Wreath

I went to a Girls Ink! event and made this wreath.  It was made using the stampin up Rosette die and designer paper.  Two tricks I learned..... Use foam board cut into circle for base and use Paper clip and hanger.

December Senior Craft

For my assisted living craft this month I borrowed an Idea from the web.  I found the cutest Santa on Lauri's Stampin Corner Blog.  I pre-cut all the pieces and the seniors will assemble them.  They can either make a box or a card..

Blessings Jar

For thanksgiving this year I gave out handmade Blessing Jars.  I printed 20 scriptures onto paper and made a tag that says, "Messages to Inspire, Encourage and Comfort"  I put them into a mason jar and covered the top with fabric.  I put into a cellophane bag with a bow.

I hope they enjoyed receiving them as I did making them.

Thanksgiving Craft Project

Im sorry Im so late posting for November.  Regular life has had me super busy.  Her is a project I made with my senior craft group.  I used Tim holtz rosette die for the back, scallop for the inside wings, circle punches for the body, Boho flower punch for the feet and 1/2 heart punch for the gill.  I had everything pre cut and ran the pieces through the sticker maker.  They were able to put the project together very quickly.

Christmas Tag Swap

I saw a really cute punched Elf Pattern on Tinker With Ink & Paper and knew I wanted to use that idea for my Christmas Tag Swap at Swap Your Heart Out.  I used the Tim Holtz Tag for the base, embossed the background and changed a few details.
I really hope the girls like them.

Advise for the Mom to Be

My friend Beth asked me to make some Crowns for her sisters Baby Shower.  The theme was princess and the colors Brown and Pink.  Guests at the shower could write Advise for the Mom to Be on the Crowns.  The crowns were displayed on a Board during the shower.

I cut out the crowns using my Cricut and added glitter and Jewels.

My Version of Stampin Up Cover Ornament

I loved the paper ornament on the cover of the holiday Stampin Up Catalog.  I don't have the stamps or dies so I decided to try to make one with what I had.  I used my Cricut to cut out the ornament shapes and used my Tim Holtz Rosette for the center.

Art Journal Project

I have started an online Art Journal Challenge at Mini Album Scraps.  It is a self paced group teaching us how to create an Art Journal.  The leader Corissa Freeman posts Videos for each challenge.  Her U-tube is So much to scrap about
The first two challenges were
1.  To purchase an Art Journal
2.  To decorate the front and make a handmade flower.

This is what I came up with....

I made a pocket on the inside to hold a tag which has details of each challenge.

Sophia's Diaper Cake

I made this diaper cake for my daughters friend Sophia.  The bottom and top layer are all diapers.  I wrapped each layer with ribbon and added handmade tissue flowers around the bottom layer.
The bear on the top is holding a bottle, has a paper crown and a medallion with the babies name.
The second layer has a hand painted paper box filled with treats.  On the back I added 3 paper covered clothes pins to hold mittens.
