My Friend Jennifer's Birthday is October 26th. Her birthday is a big deal and she makes sure everyone at works knows it : ). I made her a paper chain countdown to put at her desk. I used Cricut Storybook for the base, Frame, and Birthday Girl. I used Doodle charms cupcake. Misc paper was used for the chain. I added 3 decorative clip ons (26, J, and Happy Birthday) using a mini clothespin. Stamps: Stampin up Think Happy Thoughts and Misc letters and numbers. I used Stampin up 1 1/4" circle punch and scalloped punch.

Ga Ga Birthday Box

I made this gift box for my boss at work. He LOVES Lady Ga Ga. I used a checkbook box as the base, covered it with decorative paper. Made 2 paper rosette's (black 1 1/2" & Sheet music 1 1/4") I used a chip board star covered with glitter glue. I punched a magazine picture for the center using a 1 1/4" punch. I printed the "Happy Birthday Scott" onto cream paper. I plan to fill with red/cream tissue paper, his favorite chewing gum, and a gift card to Starbucks.... It came together quickly and I'm happy with the way it turned out. I hope he likes it!

Flower Pot Pocket Card

I followed the Flower Pot Pocket Card tutorial on Splitcoaststampers.com. I gave it my own spin by adding crimped base, distressing, stampin up punches (flowers, oval, scalloped), stampin up sentiments and bird stamps. I've been wanting to try this for a long time..... and love the way they turned out...

Lady Bug Gift Box

Along with my friends Alyssa, Marie (pictured above), and Rona I made these little gift boxes. I found the gift boxes at Dollar Tree 8 for $1.00. We used punches to create the body and free handed the antenna. We filled them with Candy and a special note and gave them to our friends and co-workers. They loved them! Really quick inexpensive idea with cute results.
Recipe:
2" circle Black for body (Crimped)
2" circle Red for the wings
Standard hole punch for the spots
1" circle punch for the head
White Gel pen for outlining (we did a _ . pattern)
small goggly eyes
